The Needles Senior Center is a welcoming community hub designed to provide essential services, activities, and social opportunities for seniors. During the winter months, the Center sees an increase in participation due to our winter visitors, while the summer months may bring more limited programming and gaming. Whether you’re looking for transportation, a delicious noon meal or a fun afternoon of Bingo, the Senior Center is here to support the local senior community.
Below, you’ll find an overview of the services and programs available to help seniors stay active and engaged.
DAR Specialized Transportation
The Senior Center offers transportation services for seniors and individuals with disabilities, including transportation to medical facilities, shopping, appointments and more within the city limits. The service operates Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (excluding holidays), and costs $1.25 per boarding. If you’re taking transportation to the noon meal program, your return trip is free.
Fort Mohave/Bullhead Shuttle
The Fort Mohave/Bullhead Shuttle makes two round trips from Needles up to Bullhead City on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The round-trip fare is $9 for destinations in Fort Mohave (up to Aztec Road) and $12 for destinations in Bullhead City. Prepaid advanced reservations are required.
