The Human Resources Department helps support the City by managing important functions like labor relations, employee benefits, workers’ compensation and discipline procedures. They make sure employees are treated fairly and have access to the benefits they need. 

Human Resources also handles the hiring process for all City departments. This includes posting job openings, reviewing applications, and running tests and interviews to find the best candidates for each position. Their goal is to hire and keep a skilled, qualified workforce.
