Welcome to the Parks and Recreation Department!
The Parks & Recreation Services Department oversees all recreational activities, parks, and services provided by The City of Needles. Additionally, Recreational Services offers social, recreational, and cultural opportunities that enrich the quality of life for residents of Needles by providing engaging programs and social services, ensuring a diverse range of leisure activities accessible to all citizens. Various programs are available for youth, including sports programs, summer camps, and dance classes. All events being held in City-owned facilities by groups or individuals who are not part of the City organization must purchase general liability insurance for the event. The event holder can either purchase insurance through an outside insurance agency, or through the City’s insurance carrier.
