In an effort to clean up the City and remove the appearance of blight, Ordinance 639-AC amended the City of Needles Municipal Code to ensure that every sign in the City of Needles is continuously maintained.

Every sign and/or sign structure advertising a use no longer being conducted on the property for a continuous period of 90 days or more shall be removed, replaced with an opaque panel or painted over in a solid color. Failure to maintain a sign shall result in a Notice of Violation by the City. Failure to correct the violation(s) shall result in an Administrative Citation pursuant to Chapter 2A, and abatement and/or removal of the sign.
