The function of the planning commission is to be a recommending body. After a public hearing regarding development of the City, Subdivisions, Planning and Zoning issue is presented.

The commission will submitted recommendations to the City Council for it’s approval on concerning proposed public works and for the clearance or rebuilding of blighted or substandard areas within the City.
